You can choos
betwee two tipes of imput.:
•Material: lambda, density and speific heat is needed;
•Cavity: The imput iof Thermal resestans is needed. A well-insulated cavity has a high R-value.

Lambda is the heat conductivity coefficient or
thermal conductivity of the material. The thermal conductivity coefficient
λ expresses how much energy (in Watts) passes through
a surface of 1 m² at a thickness of 1 m, per degree Kelvin temperature
difference between both sides of the surface. The lower the λ value, the
better the material insulates. Heavy materials do not insulate well. Porous
materials insulate better. Moisture adversely affects the insulating
capacity.

Density is the
volumic mass. The moisture content and the composition of the material largely
determine the volumic mass.

Specific heat is the specific heat capacity or
heat accumulating capacity of the material.
