Shortcuts - drawing screens M (Move) |
This feature allows you to move points, lines, planes, and rooms.
18. Click Move in the sub-screen Edit of the menu bar, or press the M key;
19. Drag your mouse onto the object you would like to move. This object can be a point, a line, a plane, or a room depending on the selection option;
§ To select a room, press the CTRL key and click the room you want to move.
20. Click once on the object with your left mouse button. Three axes appear, which correspond to the X-, Y-, and Z- axis (red, green, and blue respectively);
§ To move windows, doors or walls, two axes are projected on the plane of the window, door, or wall. These axes are the X-axis and the Z-axis (red and blue respectively).
21. Move your mouse along one of the axes;
22. Enter the desired translation (Distance [mm]) and press ENTER. The object will be repositioned based on the input value.
§ To move windows, doors or walls, you may indicate the translation along the X- and Z- axes in Distance [mm] simultaneously as follows: 900, 300.
§ Instead of specifying the movement using an input value, you may also perform this movement with your mouse. In this case move your mouse button to indicate the correct movement and click the mouse button. It is possible to snap a reference point which should be parallel to the plane.
Instead of clicking in steps 3 and 5, you may also keep the mouse button pressed whilst moving the mouse. This will increase the speed of drawing.
