Flatten face

The function Flatten face allows you to flatten a face, or wall, of the object. A face which is not flat will be coloured red in the drawing screen to highlight this. These faces may lead to errors in calculating the volume of the object as Vabi Elements is not able to split up the face.

23.  Click Flatten face in the sub-screen Edit of the menu bar, or press the F key;

24.  Click on the face you want to flatten, after which the face is flattened directly. As many points as possible are retained in this process.

•      If you want to specify which point should be moved in this process, please select this point. The other points of face will then be retained.

•      It is possible that flattening one face results in other faces to become not flat. In this case repeat the flattening process for these other faces.
